“I love art and the idea of being able to create and produce something that I am excited and satisfied with in its completed form. My goal is to try to present and preserve the beauty of nature, and it’s creatures, as realistically as I can on my canvas. In my landscapes, I try to depict a feeling of peace and calm, and hope to convey this feeling to the viewers. I am inspired by landscapes around me, and also, by our changing seasons. I love the brilliant greens and blues of spring and summer, the reds and golds of fall, and equally, the pristine shades of whites and blues in the snow of winter.
Currently, I am working at perfecting my techniques, so that I am able to become a better artist. As my work progresses, I find I am becoming more confident in my abilities. My hope is that people will appreciate and enjoy my art as much as I enjoy creating it. I am very thankful for this gift. “
